Bashakill Marsh – Wurtsboro, NY

The Bashakill Marsh lies entirely within the Bashakill Wildlife Management Area that covers 2,409 acres. With 15 different access sites, this is a great area for canoes and kayaks. The Bashakill Marsh is the largest freshwater wetland in southeastern New York and represents a unique biotic community.
