DEC Warns of Fishing License Scam

The NYS DEC put out an advisory today on social media warning consumers of other websites claiming to sell New York State Fishing Licenses. These other sites are actually a scam and are looking to steal consumers information. As a reminder, you can only purchase a New York State Fishing license from the official NYS DEC DECALS website which can be found here: https://decals.licensing.east.kalkomey.com/ or by purchasing your license from a license issuing agent in person, which you can find that list here: https://www.dec.ny.gov/permits/95448.html
