Rockland Sports Show Canceled

Well it looks like the pandemic continues to cancel things that we love. The World Fishing and Outdoor Exposition which was set to take place at the RCC Fieldhouse this year has been canceled.

A statement on the website reads:
“The 2021 show is regrettably cancelled.  Events are not allowed at RCC.  Our 2022 event will take place March 3-6.  We look forward to seeing you next year!”

The World Fishing and Outdoor Exposition, known to many regulars as just the “Rockland Show” or “Rockland Sports Show” has been a staple every year as we all prepare for the season. There’s plenty of bait, fishing tackle, boats, hunting trips, and more that are usually featured. Some of my favorite go-tos were the Beef Jerky (gotta love that variety pack), the Pickle Guy, and one thing that I look forward to each year was my visit to the Worm Bar.

Hopefully thing will look better next year for this show to return and take place once again. So until then, at least we can still enjoy the one thing we all love, and that’s fishing.
