2022 Rockland Sports Show Canceled
The World Fishing and Outdoor Exposition which was set to take place at the Rockland Community College Fieldhouse, has once again, been canceled.
A statement on the website reads:
“The 2022 show is regrettably cancelled. Strictly enforced venue mandates & Covid concerns have resulted in mass exhibitor cancellations. Our 2023 event is scheduled March 2-5. We look forward to seeing you next year! “
The World Fishing and Outdoor Exposition, known to many regulars as just the “Rockland Show” or “Rockland Sports Show” was canceled last year due to the pandemic, and since this event relies on a lot of vendors traveling into the event, arrangements would have had to been made months ago which was most likely when we were at our worst during the pandemic.
If trends continue the way things are going now, we can only be hopeful that next year the event can return. We also received word that the Northeast Outdoor Show which takes place in the month of May will return in 2023 as well. In the meantime, please visit your local sporting goods store for all of your outdoor equipment needs. Remember, supply chain issues can slow down products so shop this year much earlier than you have in the past.
