HAVE FISHED RIO RESERVOIR ONLY A FEW TIMES, ALL FROM SHORE WITH MY BROTHER. I WENT FOR LARGEMOUTH EACH TIME, NOT KNOWING ABOUT THE RAIL ROAD BED THAT ATTRACTS THEM, NO BOAT THOUGH. WAS FISHING A KASTMASTER LURE MOST OF THE TIME, CAUGHT NOW BASS BUT A FEW VERY NICE PICKEREL. A FEW QUITE LARGE. JUST WISH I HOOKED INTO SOME BASS. NO BOAT, NO BASS. SAD BUT TRUE. SAW ANOTHER ANGLER ON A BOAT, HE WAS COMING IN, HE ASKED IF I CAUGHT ANY, TOLD HIM ABOUT THE PICKEREL, I ASKED WHAT HE WAS FISHING FOR, HE SAID TROUT, SHOWED ME THE BROWN TROUT HE CAUGHT, HAD TO BE ALMOST 2 FEET LONG. SAID HE CAUGHT ONE THE WEEK BEFORE EVEN LARGER, SAID GETTING IT MOUNTED. AMAZING!! WILL FISH HERE AGAIN, JUST WISH I HAD A BOAT THOUGH, NO IDEA IF YOU CAN RENT A JON BOAT THERE. ANY INFO ABOUT RENTING A JON BOAT TO USE ON RIO, PLEASE POST. THANKS!!
